Surrounded by the Chippewa National Forest, Horseshoe Resort is on the north side of Minnesota’s Cass Lake at the water's edge, we are secluded yet on blacktop road where the ditches are ablaze with wild flowers all summer long. Our park-like setting of oaks and pines offers you level ground to the lakeshore, a protected, lighted harbor and a great dock system.

Cass Lake is rated in the top ten for Walleye and Muskie. It is also known for its Jumbo Perch, Northern Pike, Largemouth Bass and panfish.

For a quiet day, but plenty of panfish, take a short walk, where our property adjoins Lost Lake. It's a nice place to have a private picnic, a good place for the kids to swim and boats are available for fishing.

Our cottages range from economy to luxury and are well furnished. New for 2012 - all cabins have 32" flat screen TV's with cable.

Eat and drink or play games at “The Eagles Landing" - our community room. Take your children to our playground, or the sandy beach to build sand castles or take them for a ride on the paddle boat. Area attractions from 15 minutes to an hour away include: movie or live theatre, golfing, water slides, concerts, petting zoo, art displays, amusement parks, bog walks, biking and hiking trails, Mississippi Headwaters in Itasca State Park, history museums and logging sites. Or - you can just stay in your vacation cottage and enjoy the fabulous scenery.
